In the ancient Jurassic Era, five dinosaur cubs, together with their parents, are looking for a place to live but are surprised by a sudden meteor shower. For safety, the little Saro, Bronto, Stego, Ranu, and Nunzy spend the night sheltered in a cave and then realize, when they wake up, they are left alone. Following the footprints of the great reptiles, they reach a large hollow rock where they meet the young Nichus, assistant of the shaman Saùro of the Red Mountains who sent him there to find out what is happening. This is the arrival of magical meteorites that allow travel in time and is just looking for shelter in one of these that the great dinosaurs were taken away by the Jurassic. Thus began the adventures of the Jurassic Cubs who, traveling from time to time in space and time, hope to reunite with their parents. Despite many of their attempts to fail, they manage to make new friends and solve the problems they face. In the end, thanks to the fortuitous recovery of the chrono-helm, they manage to reach their goal finding themselves in the future where the perfidious scientist Taurus wants to steal the secret of time journeys. The Jurassic Cubs manage to get away this time too, managing not only to return home but also to bring back a “mechanical souvenir” that will be added to the shelves of the Cave of Wonders.
